hf 4 drawer mod

I have thought about it extensively and still am up in the air about this. I have the black 4 drawer tool cart but not sure I want to install a side shelf.
in my case it would most likely get in the way.
I have been thinking of getting another factory handle instead. Has anyone done this and how did you get the extra handle ? Thanks,

I contemplated a shelf too, but it would not work for me. What I got was the magnetic can holder + screwdriver rack as my Carlyle handles are too long to close the box and I am always reaching for brake cleaner and PS blaster.

Only thing I miss is hanging my impacts off the side like this..

Well, thats the point, loss of usable space for a bit of temporary space that is seldom needed in my case.

A couple of questions if I may... How do you get the pry bar to go through and through? My cart doesn't have holes on the lower side... And how do you lock your top with the handle sticking up? Thanks

I added a shelf, but took it off. didn't care for it, was in the way and just collected junk.

I also added the lockable screwdriver side rack, but found the locking cover to be a nuisance so I pushed out the hinge rod and removed the cover. had to hog out a few of the holes to fit the larger pry bars, but other than that I like it. it has my extra long screwdrivers, extra long extensions, long breaker bar, and all my pry bars. very handy.

wish there was one made to hold all my ball pein hammers and mallots.
