IIRC, pull the drawer out and then in the middle of each side of the drawer slide there will be a black plastic tab that you either push in or push down on each slide that allows the slide to separate into two pieces. Again IIRC the slide halves are riveted to the chassis and drawer. Additionally the drawer thicknesses will only work in certain places so you are limited in drawer position options.

In my HF boxes, you remove the drawer as per zkling's description, then you can remove the slides from the cabinet by lifting UP on the slide hardware. It may need a little deadblow or rubber mallet to pop it out of the hold down fingers. Subsequent removals, re-insertions are easier than the first.

Thanks guys.

Ive got two bottom boxes and one top. I'm wanting all shallows up top and on one bottom and then all deep and one shallow on one bottom. Looks like the slides will work. It will take some time though

Do you have the newer cherry red or the older rose red? I'm looking for someone to swap bottom drawers with me. I'd prefer all shallows on the bottom.
