The husky boxes were Vietnam at one point. Not sure where they are now

The higher end said Canada at the bottom and appeared to be International. My Proto is of better quality than my Waterloo made 42" top and bottom, but the drawer guides ****.

I'm debating these two boxes too

To me the debate is "HUTCH vs NO HUTCH

The Milwaukee has a fantastic top hutch for large power tool sets or whatever

the HF44 top has the standard old school lid with minimal storage, not much more than would fit in an extra drawer or so

the width difference is minimal 46 vs 44

I think it depends on what you need. I originally bought the Milwaukee and was happy with the cost and features of this tool box; however i soon realized there were issues. Drawer height was off, the hutch was just a little too small for my needsb etc. It is well built however make sure it will do everything you want.....

I agree about the drawers, some are too thin for anything but combination wrenches, then some are huge... a bit odd..... but I do like the hutch top

I too wish the hutch top was bigger but better than no hutch top like the HF44

either one seems like a fantastic value
