hey.. have had mine a few weeks now. Was wondering if anyone has noticed.. does the wide drawer wiggle or seem to have a lot of play when opening and closing? Granted I have a decent amount of sockets in mine, but was wondering if this is normal for these with some weight in the drawer. it makes me want to open and close the drawer with 2 hands ..one on each end of the drawer or with one hand DEAD center.

I have one. It seems to do it a little.
Remember:
It is made overseas
It is $350
It is just a thing that can be replaced if/when it wears out.

If I wanted a $4000 box I would have bought one.

Yeah, mine does it too but not very much. On mine it's more the deep drawer on the bottom that does it, the wider one on the left. See if you can concentrate more weight on each of the ends of the drawer so the middle is lighter and see if that helps. It might help if you soften up the detents so you don't have to tug on the drawer as hard also. But I would try shifting the weight outside first.

Thanks. I'll play with it a bit. I have 2 full sets of 1/4 &3/8 deep/shallow 1/4 &3/8 mid length plus torx, hex and some extensions, etc. I probably have too much **** in the drawer ;)

Pull out the drawer and look at the slides...make sure ALL the rivets that are supposed to be there are indeed there. I had one and the front rivets on the bottom slides were missing. A fixable offense to be sure, but none the less annoying.

DING-DING-DING!!!

That's about it right there!

And, to be clear, mine is the same. And I'm very pleased with it. Three years into it and I still think it's the best deal in "toolboxdom".

Mine had some wiggle so I just did the one handed dead center thing until I adjusted the detents. After that, the wiggle is mostly gone.

Mine did it since new. I think the detents cause most of it. The rest is slightly more play in the slides on a wide drawer. If the detents on one side are slightly tighter or looser than the other it can cause a little wobble when one side breaks before the other. Like I said, it wasn't that noticable on mine but I did adjust both sides evenly and now its almost nonexistent.

If you think the HF is bad, go wiggle something from Sears or Home Depot...

Mine has some wiggle. Don't care. It's a great box. Not just for the money.
