same cart.. northern sells alot of torin branded stuff that is just a name change from hf stuff. They sell some of the toolboxes, like the 56", and actually they sell a top box for it, whereas hf does not. Costco also sells some torin stuff once in a while too

Looks exactly like the one from HF except that it's black. In fact, that Drawer Lock sticker is identifical.

My guess is that it's made by the same company. Northern Tool carries some of the same stuff as HF, so it's not that surprising.

I always thought this was the same thing too but noticed one of the reviews states that ball bearing drawer slides would have been nice. Wonder if it has them?

It may be identical to the HF one, but it's not priced the same... they have it listed for $329.99 on their website. :headscrat

Actually, from what I've read (haven't seen this one in person), there are a couple differences:

1. Wheels are four swivel casters
2. Textured black paint vs. glossy red
3. The weight limit might be different as well. According to the website comments, this cart is only 350 lbs, while the HF has a listed limit of 700 lbs.

The lock might be different as well.

My older HF cart (probably 3 years old now) has 4 swivel casters. They are nice ones too, more of a rubber that soaks up the little rocks and grit that is on the shop floor. My new HF cart (bought this past Spring) only has 2 casters, and they are made of a much harder poly/plastic density. The thing gets jarred around a lot more when rolling it around the shop.
