Hello, I inherited my harbor freight jointer from my grandfather in 2010, ever since it has had a chip on each blade. I am not sure what happened but I think he had hit a brad nail because it is about the same diameter, the section that is destroyed is a little over a 1/16th inch deep. Is there anyone here that knows where to get replacement knives. I have talked to the employees at HF but they could not get the replacements because that model has been replaced by a seven inch model. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any reason why they can't be resharpened? Are they something other than a flat blade?

If the chip is not too wide you can shift one knife left the width of the chip and one knife right the width of the chip and have a passable cut until you get new knives. Also, check the knives to see if they are double edged.

And you might run out of room shifting them right and left. But if HF is now selling a 7" what is the design of the blade? Can you not cut off 1"?
As A_Pmech said before they are probably a Delta knockoff and should be able to be sourced fairly easily. Either that or find a local saw/tool shop in your area that will be able to determine if they can be resharpened. If you have a local Woodcraft or woodworking store around your area they should be able to point you in the right direction.

Measure them, I have a spare set from h.F. for an older jointer- maybe yours. They are 1/8" thick x 5/8" wide x 6". One end is also sharpened for doing rabbets, which actually works quite well if you do a proper alignment. I bought them on closeout for my 6" 1950's Delta, I had to grind one set down to 1/2" wide 'cause that's what it takes.
