HF 7 x12 bandsaw capacity

Does anybody know the actual max height capacity of the harbor freight 7x12 bandsaw. The specifications state 7" height but I went into the store the other day and measures the distance between the bed and the throat opening and it was close to 8 inches. I need to cut some aluminum extrusions with the side profile shown. It's about 7.5 inches tall. I need to make the cuts at around a 10 degree miter. Wil this saw work?

You wouldn't (shouldn't) cut them as they are drawn...lay them down on the "face" with the point up, so your cut cross section is smaller...just like cutting angle iron.

That is not possible with the angle I need to cut in them. I need to be able to cut the 10 degree miter cutting down the view shown.
