Yes, I've had one about a year - I love it. It puts out a lot of light wherever I need it. A good example of how I used it was last month I had to load my old Willys jeep on a trailer in the dark. I brought the light out and put it under the jeep so I could see where to attach the tie downs. It worked great.

I've got one and I'm not that impressed. Considering spending more to get something better.

Charge doesn't last that long, end hooks/magnets not that great, and the color of the light is somewhat unnatural to me.

Doesn't belong in a professional setting. Feels like very lightweight plastic, and does not have very many useful features

Yes I have it. It's OK, my biggest complaint is there is no way to stop the light from rotating when I hang it underneath the hood using the hooks. So it's kind of awkward to use. Seems to always rotate so the light is pointing into the hood and not down on the engine.

I have not put many hours on it.

I guess it depends on how you use it. I never use it underhood. I almost always use it under the vehicle. It stays in the position I put it in and puts a lot of light on the chassis.

If you get that light, IMO its a good idea to get the Bacho mount that will attach to it.

By the time you do that though - I’d just get something else. I have the Neiko and i think its well worth the money. The battery capacity is i think twice that or more of the Braun, and its brighter, and comes with a real mounting clamp that it can detach from. It just an awesome light for the non-pro. The handheld Neikos are BY FAR my favorite two worklights also.

To add, i have the old HF version also. The newer version should be better, but i cant deal with how you have to mount the thing. Its just too much aggravation that you can never seem to get it exactly where you want it, only where you ‘can’ make it mount.

As far as the Braun rotating - For you guys that already own it, watch this. EVERYONE that owns any HF underhood work light should watch this video.

This is the neiko

Works great in .. has a high and low adjustment and the price was right. HF does make some useful tools :) Mine says Luminar Work (item 60793)
