How is the hf aluminum jack? My dads gave out so I gave him my 3 ton super duty since I use sometimes. I see its not on sale anymore but I see the aluminum one is. Just curious the quality cause I will prob pick one up.

Oh I will use it to work on my 53 f100 so I do need some a$$ behind it.

I own the solid color 3000 lbs. Al jack from Harborfreight. I've had it for three years and I would buy another one in a heartbeat. Mines been a real work horse. I've never owned a Harborfreight jack that I didn't like.

I have had my 3000Lb HF aluminium jack for about 2 years. It works great. I must admit that it surprised me, I figured for what I spent it would have died by now but it works good as new.

I went to hf tonight and they still had the super duty 3 ton so i picked it up cause it has a higher lift (like 6 inches) and seemed stronger.

I bought one of them as well last Tuesday for $64ish. I originally wanted the 2.5ton long frame (has a 31in lift range) but they were sold out. The extra 3in makes a huge difference when working under my car (99 SAAB 9-3.)

I have this one.
Rapid Pump® 4000 Lb. Capacity Lightweight Low Profile Aluminum Racing Jack #92782

I like it but haven't use it enough for a long term recommendation. It has the dual cylinders which allows it to raise quickly. That was my big annoyance with my 2 1/2 ton Sears. It takes too long. My only issue with the HF is the pad is too big to fit some lift points.

It goes on sale for $149-159, so its a nice deal with the 20% coupon. I think it is at $159 now in my local store.
