If you have a miter saw, you can get a blade for thin, non-ferrous metal (96 teeth on a 10" blade) for about that price....Then you are not limited to 3/4" material.

I purchased a Wilton just about that size for work. It was a great little tool that got used on a daily basis. BUT....when we were making fixtures, we were constantly having to cut dowel pins and hardened drill or reamer blanks. As far as home use, it may come in handy. I wouldn't put a lot of faith though in something like that for under $30 to last very long at all. And one thing you have to look at is how hard will it be to find wheels and parts if it decides to head south on you.

like stated, short term project ok; daily use, no no .
I bought their steel cutting saw and it is holding up fine.
