HF Black Friday Sale?

Hey guys!

Should we be expecting good deals this week? I need a bunch of stuff from HF and was wondering whether I should wait to pull the trigger or not? I'm guessing that a lot of the folks on the board are familiar with their deals around this time of the year. Should I check back during the week or am I better off waiting for Friday?


BTW does anybody have any experience with this jack? It will be used around 10 times a year. Need something small and light.

Harbor freight doesn't do black friday that much. Maybe on the higher priced stuff somewhat but probably not any better than usual deals.

The aluminum jacks they sell are highly rated but I wouldn't use one vs. the traditional stuff (I don't think I would trust it). It would be good for portable use though. On a passenger car? If you're using jack stands? Yeah fine.

There is nothing to be exited about. They always have these prices in their coupon book or mail in catalogs. Like the black tool cart is almost always $99.00 and so are the rest of the stuff. If they let you use the %25 off coupon then maybe yeah. Harbor Freight always play the same gimmick like %67 off or you save $67.00 same ol gimmick. Prices always the same they just change the colors on the price tags and say SALE. And this supposedly Black Friday Ad looks just like the Ads they have at the store entrance. I would not loose sleep thinking I am missing out as I can get these prices year round. I go there often and know the prices and the gimmick. Lol

Yeah, it's not much of a sale...which imo is good because I rather have low prices every day rather than waiting in a *********** line on BF. Even the 44" tool chest isn't that killer of a deal on BF considering they have a coupon right now for only 20 bucks more. I rather pay 20 bucks more not to deal with the crowd. I think the coupon even lasts till next year February.

Yeah when I received the flyer I didn't even realize it was a Black Friday ad. The sale prices are about what they always are. And based on my last experience at HF, I'm really hesitant to step foot in one, anytime soon.

I had that jack for years, works great! - upgraded to the slightly heavier 2 ton version, it is bigger, goes higher, and just even nicer all around!

There was a coupon last night for 20% but I ended at 11pm local time. I'm under the impression that it was 20% on everything (except the jack)

Their % off coupons specifically exclude jacks and several other items. This is from a 20% off coupon I had lying around:
"Cannot be used with any other discount, coupon, gift cards, Inside Track Club membership, extended service plans, or on any of the following: compressors, generators, tool storage or carts, welders, floor jacks, Towable ride-on Trencher (Item 65162), open box items, in-store event or parking lot sale items. "

Still, there are always some pretty nice coupons floating around for the various jacks; you just can't, er, "jack up" your coupon with another coupon.

I once found a 25% off entire purchase coupon, for HF, instead of a single item. That was about four months ago, and I haven't been able to find another, since.
