I received that same email along with another one with the same items, for the same price, but without being coupons. So you'd be able to use a 20% off coupon on the sale prices.

HF has been doing that for a few weeks now. Sending two emails with the same items at the same prices, but one is coupons and one is sale prices. I don't understand why they're doing it.

Thanks for the heads up. The only problem I've found with the HF hansen type trays are that the large socket sizes do not fit because the peg for them is too close to the edge of the tray, so you have to turn em upside down. That and the sizes on there seem to make little sense as they skip a few seemingly common numbers.

I'm with crbnfbr, I got the email with the non coupon sale price of $339.99. I called the local store and they are out of them, so I will get another raincheck for the bottom roller. So far I have rain checks, that when used with the 20% coupons, will net me real close to 50% off of their "regular price". I have 10 coupons from magazines that range from May 5th exp to July 17th exp. so I should get my rain checks filled before the last coupon expires.

has anyone used these socket trays before?

They are junk . . . Not only that, they are ugly compared to the real one's. As others have stated also how hard can it be to include the most common socket sizes?

Fracken morons . . . If you have nothing perhaps this is a piece to tie you over. But, for another $25.00 why not spend your money once, and be satisfied forever . . .

I have the socket trays and I like them. They all fit in the top drawer of the toolbox in this ad. The rub is that they are not portable, in the fact they can tip over and spill all the sockets, thus causing sadness.

edit: I got the real hansen ones from sears. I thought that these were those

I got these trays today. For the money, I don't think you could go wrong. They did seem to skip a bunch of sizes that I had, so I Put the sockets in order and disregarded what the size said on the tray. I then took a Label Maker and put whatever size i wanted on there.

Socket trays. Yep, for the price you cant pass em up. Although, i chose not to use the 1/2 tray because alot of my sockets didnt fit. As for the 3/8 and 1/4, they work great, but in sae theres some sizes not made by anyone? (1/4 drive above 9/16) and (3/8 drive above 1 inch). instead, i used the extra pegs for adapters and spark plug sockets.

Cool...... if memory serves you have been wanting a bigger box for a while? Post some pictures and what you think of your new box after you transfer your tools!

it seems to be a nice box for the money. i need to get the top box next, the roll cab filled up fast. i got it out of my van all by myself, it took 4 harbor freighters to put it in. then the first thing i did was take off the us general badge. i'll post some pics in the toolbox thread later this week.

I was surprised to see how fast my bottom and side filled up. I would love to get the top but I don't think I want to get rid of the nice big work space. The side box is perfect for a laptop too.
