Been to my local store twice and still sold out. Just bought 2 inline for coupon price and 6.99 shipping. Not about to check the store again and come out empty handed.

I ordered two online last week. order confirmation showed "backordered", then two days later my order got cancelled. No explanation.

Well, now I have a question. Used mine today, and the rotating part seems
a bit too easy to move. IOW, if I bend the LED bar 90 deg to the 'battery' part, then hold the 'battery' part horizontal, the 'LED bar' part seems to rotate too freely. Are they all like that? Seems like when I first got it there was more resistance to rotation. And the cap just below the LED section does not budge.
There's no tightening it to lock rotation.

??

I love my HF light, but im digging the Carlyle version.
I saw it in the latest NAPA flyer.
It folds in half. And i really like the handle and hook.
Anyone got this version?

I bought mine last month just because y'all talked about it so much, lol.

But I find that I use it more than any other light I own. I like it a lot.

Guess I lost the lottery. My new one is crapping out-only a month or so old. I do like the format

Quite useful that it folds back on self as makes useful in situation where don't want it long and also neater storage.
Hook is good but I added hooks to my Braun ones .
Easy battery change and upgrade on braun good to as is the price at 20bucks, I use 2 in shop daily for last 3 months and they really good, if loose or bust one I not going care much plus I got another spare stocked in the consumables cupboard .

It has been mentioned a couple times in this thread, but its not super obvious.
The light folds back and forth, AS WELL AS pivots left and right on the handle.
Mine was pretty tight on the pivot.
This is really a great design, and mine has performed well in fairly rough use.

I don't get this, mine only folds. If I need it to pivot, I'll turn it at the base.
I think they have them on sale this weekend for $20.

They definitely pivot. It basically just changes where the power button is relative to the light emitting part.

My co-worker has now gone through 2 of them. He said his next one will be for home use only.

Yep. Though as pointed out above, WHY they pivot is a little more difficult to pin down, since you could certainly rotate it on the base.

Anyway, I didn't realize they pivot either, until I noticed that the button on my third one was in the opposite orientation as it was on my first two.

If you prefer to turn it on with your thumb, you can pivot it so you don't get blasted in the face with the light. That's the only benefit I see.

I've had 2 on the go daily in my shop for 3 months, they been dropped, kicked across floor, left out in rain and freezing temp etc and still working fine .
I've had 60buck lights break in under 6 months and generally 8 months to 18months is what I expect from a pretty durably light .

Bought one when they were on sale awhile back. Was pretty excited to use it aswell. It will now no longer turn on, and as I’ve lost the receipt I’m most likely sol. I’m just going to order the Astro and be done with it.

Check the battery
If paid by card use online bank record as proof of purchase, always worth a go with exchange regardless as good employee maybe helpful and more so if like new condition and still got packing .

No packing, and checked with another known good battery. I’ll try but was just disappointed after I heard all the reviews and it ended up crapping out on me

Dude, just buy another one, and put the broken one back in the package and return it.. it's not even anything shifty - you bought the thing..

It pivots so you don't have to pick it up off of whatever it's stuck to in order to cast light in another direction or fine tune where the light is shining. I use the pivot feature somewhat frequently when working on cars.

I wouldn't, why stress the wiring.

I'm assuming it's designed so the wiring doesn't get stressed. I guess time will tell. Do you not pivot nor swivel your light at all?

If anyone has one that fails and takes it apart completely, please post pictures for the rest of us.

It's funny how nobody knows it swivels but it says so right on the front and back of the package. lol.

One of mine acted like that. I pushed real hard on the button and it started working fine. Almost as though the button needed to be "seated" better.
