HF Drill Press Table No Longer Available

After not being able to find the HF drill press table on their website, I sent an email inquiring about it. I just received this email from HF...

I just called my local HF and they have one left in stock for $19.97.

Is that a good drill press table? People like it? Everytime I use mine I wonder if it'd be nice to have a table when I'm clamping a random 2x4 to it to drill on.

There have been a few posts about it in the Woodworking 101 thread. I'd say if you can find one it's not a bad table for the $$.

While they may not be quite as cheap, there are similar tables offered By Rockler, MLCS, and others. The quality is probably better as well. I recall reviews on the HF not being that good.

Why not make your own? Guess that is just me tho. Did not not know these were even sold, I just made my own for my drill presses.

Same here. Some scrap MDF, Rockler T-Track, and an afternoon. Bolts to the table from underneath - T-nuts in the MDF. Replaceable insert, adjustable fence & stop. Love it.
