Extract only on the HF version... If you compare the mityvac it's got a valve where you can switch to pump or extract

Just a quick question as i've been looking at them too... Do you really want use the same container for removing old fluids as you use for dispensing new fluids? Wouldn't that just be cross contamination? or would you have to thoroughly clean it each time...
It seem that it would be more work than its worth... IDK

$90?

I just got Astro's new blue one and I think it cost me under $80. Thing is tight as a drum.

I was actually replacing my older leaking HF one, but unsure if it was the same brand/type.

Oh, and I don't pump in. I used to have one just for my boat since that was the easiest way. But in general I don't put brand new synthetic oil in an old greasy extractor anyways.

I bought that one with the pump/**** switcheroo valve. Don't buy it. Get the suction-only one. The valve is flaky and if you get certain fluids in it then it swells the seals, or it will leak when trying to vacuum. I removed that valve on mine and it's a suction-only one now.

Nothing some brake cleaner or degreaser cant take care of. And after all its not like mixing blood type on human. A drop of oil or atf in diff or vice versa wont hurt. Not to say you shouldn't clean it...you should.

They are around $75 online now.

And pumping it isn't a big deal - you pump it a dozen or two times, and walk away - the vacuum created inside will **** out two gallons of fluid all by itself.

A dozen or two times for a fleet of over 75+ vehicles and equipment isn't worth my time or energy lol
