I see they are having one 7/22-7/28, "Making Room for New Items."

Now, does that mean that these items are never to be seen again? Or reappearing rebadged? Or are they making room for more of these items?

Yeah, marketing BS. They do seem to have a larger than usual number of customer returns and/or dented boxes that start to be displayed the week before they put this extra discount for those out there. But the regular inventory stuff is no more than a regular sale, and usually not the lowest price offered through other sale periods.

(just noticed that the torque wrench i'm looking at ("liquidation sale" item) which is out-of-stock at my nearest HF, has a status of "Back In Stock Soon" at that nearest HF, so no "need" for me to scour the other HF's due to a perceived case of FOMO!)

They do that sometimes when they change manufacture, and sku numbers.
