I would like to use these with Baking Soda to clean aluminum parts and carb bodies.

Does anyone have one of these?

Sodablasting is an entirely different proposition from most abrasive media blasting. The soda itself is a far different granular structure from the soda at the grocery store.

For your projected aplication look into walnut shell, corncob or even plastic beeds. Those might work in the contraption you're calling a blaster.

I have read on other forums that soda will work through some blasters, and i was wondering if anyone here had tried it.

I have seen the "Soda Blaster" sold through Eastwood and other places but I have also heard that soda can be used through other types of "blasters".
I was hoping to hear if any others had tried.

On another forum a person used Soda through an air brush type gun and had good results (seen the pics).
I would would like to stay on the cheap get his results, as he did, but all the informaion I have read on this subject is so varied.

I think for the price I may try it.
I have extra carbs, so when I try it I will keep you posted.
