Just an interesting bit of information...with more and more offshore production moving to China, the new Pittsburgh Pro groove joint pliers are now made in Taiwan. The old Pittsburgh Pro's were made in China. The new set look and feel nice too. Just thought it was worth mentioning.

*and this isn't meant to be an arguement over who is better...I have Knipex Cobra's, Channellock's and Kobalts, so I've seen different sides of the coin.

That is good to know. I usually buy channellocks, but there are times when I need a really cheap pair. I much prefer Taiwan over China as most people do when talking import tools.

Price?

:+1: I can tolerate Taiwan (ex. Kobalt) on hand tools, China only on power tools (ex. Dewalt)

Yeah like close proximity grinding or welding, junkyard jump-out bag, etc. I may have to check those out
