HF guru's - Badlands winch

Does anyone know if the winches go on sale? One that is not a parking lot sale, or a coupon?

The reason I ask, is that the 20/25% off coupons will work on them, but of course, won't stack on other sales/coupons.

I'm looking at the 12,000# winch, which has a normal price of $399. For some reason, I thought I saw it on 'sale' (sticker on the shelf) for $349 one day last year. This would bring the price to $261.75 when using a 25% off coupon. Less than the regular coupon price of $299 and the parking lot sale price of $289.

I plan on picking up a 44" box this weekend, and I might possibly pick up the winch if I am wrong on my thinking of the sales...

You can catch that winch on sale for anywhere from $269 to $299. If you are mounting it on a trailer, it's worth it to buy the remote control for about $30. I've been using one of those for five or six years moving twenty foot sea containers and it's one of those hidden gems that Harbor Freight sells. I just got a 40 foot trailer and mounted one of their new 18,000 lb. winches on it. So far it's a great winch too.

Can anyone read my OP before commenting? I don't need a coupon, and I know all about hfqpdb.

Does the 12k winch ever go on a 'normal' sale of $349 or so? If it does, I can use a 20% off (or 25%) to get it for $279 or less. Follow my drift?

I have a few months worth of HF emails in my “coupon” folder and all I see are the $289 and $299 prices you mentioned. It’s listed at $399 in the current paper catalog I got in the mail this week.

I know, I need to delete a bunch of old emails. Ha ha
