I've got one of the cheap ones that I've used for a few years. It's worked for me.

Definitely get the big foot. I'm a plumber and my shop has both and I change out a lot of water heaters. I am always bitching and moaning when I realize one of the other guys has the big wheel and I have to use the regular one.

Yeah, $40 00 & Tax, cant hardly beat it.
One review said the wheels broke apart, But he was moving 400# logs.
I'm not moving nothing that heavy.
Still says 700#, So it shouldn't do that, But You'll have that with HF sometimes I guess.
Think I'll check it before I leave the store parking lot.
I'm guessing you have to assemble these?
I'll probably Drag my little 4' trailer there too, and exchange my wheels and the spare while I'm there for the recall.

I use the cheap ones at work, so when they get left at deliveries not expensive to replace. If you keep the nuts on the rims tight and the tires inflated properly they work fine. If not, they sell replacement tires cheap. We deliver appliances and furniture so nothing over a couple hundred pounds. You can replace pneumatic tires with solid rubber and they will last for years.

I have the bigfoot and it works fine for moving anything I've ever wanted to move. No experience with the red one to comment on that. I prefer a car with a metal slider box built out by the tires for going down steps but neither one has that so it's a draw there.

Have had a smaller one for a long time. Every few years I get a new set of wheels, they are cheap but they leak and bend if you abuse them, say prying up a heavy load.

I have one of the regular red ones I bought back in 2003 when I moved my son to college. Didn't have anything super heavy, small refridge, boxes of stuff. Typical dorm furnishings. Still using it today in the garage. I think I paid $20 for it. Sure saved my back.

Mine has worked great for years. The only thing I did was put the solid tires on it due to the fact that every time I went to grab it, one of the tires would be flat. Solid tires, problem solved.

I have the big foot. One of the wheels is bent, and usually have to air up tires to use it but its not bad. I think I paid $30 for it a couple years ago.

I think they sell one with solid wheels, but I thought the air tires were better for somewhat rough terrain. And the steps are like outside deck steps.

I've used all types of hand trucks and I can say the ones with bigger tires are much nicer/easier to use. However, those big inflated tires also seem to be flat most of the time. I prefer the big inflated tires but I personally own a hand truck from Menards with smaller solid plastic wheels. I wouldn't tolerate dealing with flat tires every time I needed to use a hand truck, which isn't very often.

Because the Bigfoot axle must be further from the load to accomodate the larger tires, it is harder to lever up the load when using it. This means that you shouldn't get too excited about the higher load rating, because it will be much harder to tip a "full" load back to move it.

The bigger tires roll easier over uneven surfaces, which is a major selling point.

I have a couple of the red HF hand trucks, and replaced the inner tubes on one because the tires kept going flat. The other one does the same, but takes longer to lose air, so I haven't replaced the tubes yet. Both are over 20 years old.

Definitely get the Bigfoot. $40 with coupon may as well be free if it keeps you from rupturing a disc in your back and having to go see a neurosurgeon.

I also bought the big foot a couple years ago and have been very happy with it. The only thing I didn’t like was that wheels were kinda wobbly on the axle, but cured most of the wobble by shimming with some washers.

I've had one of their convertible ones for +20 years now, see pic below.

About 10 years ago, I took an old freezer or refrig to one of the local thrift stores using my hand truck to haul it in. A couple months later I went to look for my truck and couldn't find it. Went back to the thrift store, explained the situation and they gave me my hand truck back.

God knows what they did with it or what they carried on it but it must have been large and heavy and they did it a lot: both the frame and one of the wheels was bent. Didn't care then, don't care now, still works just fine. In fact I'll use it tomorrow to help my son move to Auburn for college.

Another advantage to the bigfoot is the wings that prevent oddly shaped loads from dragging on the tires which happens with the red one.

Yeah I like the wings.
That's the one I got the big foot.
Tried to pick the best one.
One on the floor had about 2" runout....... L0L
Tires need air. Looks like a tube type tire.

I bought the blue bigfoot one last year when we moved. It worked great. HF always tries to sell the warranty. I bought some of the orange dead blow hammers and they tried to sell me the warranty on that.

Is this one good?
https://www.harborfreight.com/600-lb-capacity-heavy-duty-hand-truck-62776.html
or would the "Big foot be better.
https://www.harborfreight.com/700-lb-capacity-bigfoot-hand-truck-62900.html

Rather save a few bucks if the cheaper one is OK.

going to have to go down some steps.
i have an appliance dolly,
but want something lighter too, for smaller stuff, Drill presses and the like.
I can use a 25% off coupon on these right?
The one for mothers day tomorrow.

Made in the USA, 800lb hand truck, currently under $30.

Milwaukee - not the same company as Milwaukee power tools, makes a HUGE selection of handtrucks.. they have specialized models for just about anything you can think of, and prices range with models.. Costco actually has a really nice 3 in 1 (not Milwaukee) for like $100. I think it's Cosco brand?

I've got 1 of each & usually grab the red one, never thought about it but now I know why.
It also seems harder to keep a load balanced on the big foot, I seem to have to tip it back more & that makes it awkward to walk with

Wouldn't the dead blow hammer be considered a "Hand Tool" ?
Or the lifetime warranty dosen't apply to hammers?

HF covers a warranty on the dead blows. People have returned them mangled and broken and gotten free replacements.

yep... i took my 4lber in all beat to **** with the outer material gone from both ends and they swapped it out no problem

Hell, I hope I don't have trouble using mine.

I'm only 5 foot, 6 I inches, so maybe it won't be so bad.
It would roll tipped lower than a taller person pushing it.
