I had both, the red one bent the L bracket to one axle, replaced it with the blue which other than putting air in the tires from time to time has worked fine for a decade or so.

Had one, sold it. Didn't like the large wheels on the blue HF hand truck. If I were to buy one again I 'd get the one with the smaller wheels. Much easier to move around and tilt back when the wheels are smaller.

Does it work OK on Rough terrain?

Assume question was about solid tires. Answer, Yes. My primary use these day is to take my barrels full of lawn debris and dirt from back of house to front to load in my truck for landfill trips. This means wheeling over quite a bit of yard, and the solid tires work fine.

FYI. They are not hard or even rigid like a smal Lawn Mower tire. They are just solid but pliable rubber.

I got a blue Bigfoot over 10 years ago back when it seems like the price was $40 or maybe it was on sale. Still using it! Was moving boulders with it on rough ground. One of the wheels appeared to bend but it was the wheel being torn away from the flange. Used it till it broke free; then welded it back on and still using it. HF sells replacement wheels too.

Difference to note between the old ones and the new ones. Look hard at the left side of the back of the top strap. Painted over but stamped into the metal it says "Vietnam". So that might be a plus as to the quality of the new ones. Thing rolls like a dream on hard pavement! Thing is a must have item if you ever move anything heavy or bulky. Being able to go over grass or up/down curbs easily is a huge plus to. Someone on the fence about getting one; go grab one and I'd like to know about the quality of the Vietnam model.

Well, Mine Surely did not last that long at all (Wheels)
And was not moving anything very heavy at all.
Did you tack the hubs/wheels in about 4 spots, or run a bead all around?
I have a Small 110 V Mig, With gas shielding.

I got medieval on the HF blue one. Added additional bracing to the axle support, stepped up to solid tires and 3/4" axle. It's ridiculous now, love it!!!

Big Blue w/inflatable tires is the one and done hand truck; can survive insane abuse, used to move stuff at least 10 times over whatever it was rated at and has survived a short trip down the road end-over-end all by itself at around 30mph or so. (isolated road fellas, completely my fault, no injuries) Minor adjustments to those ears that cover the tires. Its mostly still blue, original tires, about 1000 nicks and scratches but no breaks, no cracked welds, nothing but hammer-like reliable.
