Thinking about buying this for my new enclosed for fluides etc and wondering i anyone has one and how you think it would hold up to living in a trailer

https://www.harborfreight.com/tool-...ving-cabinets/hanging-tool-cabinet-39213.html

I’ve looked at them in the past, and if it were me and I were putting it in a trailer, I’d definitely find a way to secure the shelves inside. Bolt, rivet, or tack weld. I suspect they’ll bounce off the tabs. I’d also change the locks so all were the same key...that’s just asking for trouble. Otherwise, go for it.

*Here’s a 10% off coupon, works on anything, even carts, welders, cabinets, etc.

Pure junk. I ended up throwing it in the trash. Very thin metal. The doors will easily fall off in a stationary garage. The whole thing is assembled by you with dozens of screws, lining up the thin metal is a pain and doubt it would survive in a trailer. Surprise this model is still being sold. Read the lower rating reviews.
Wish they would release an updated version that is welded with thicker metal.

I have that cabinet in my shop it has been on the wall for 15 years and still looks good. Does what it is supposed to do. And has worked and still looks like new. Unless they have cheapened it up with thinner metal should work fine for you.

Check it out in person. I thought I remembered that being total garbage, but it's been a couple years.

Similar experience here. I got three back in 2003 with a coupon for $50 each. They've held up well and are quite nice.

I agree with the above though about the fact that the shelves will bounce out in a trailer. Mine are mounted on a wall in a garage.

My brother had a set of these in his old trailer and they held up pretty well. He did zip-tie the shelves in to prevent them from bouncing.

Don't buy those. Total junk. I bought 2. The one I put together wouldn't aware up. I returned the one still in the box. They wouldn't take the other one back.

Got two of them and they work fine for me, yes the metal is thin but i only had an issue with one door because I had a ton of **** hanging off of it lol. I got the last one on sale for 35 bucks and they work well for me.
