Hi pro, thx for reply. I'm not sure...do you have one? that seemed the obvious place to me too. I've stuck the pin in every hole in this thing those side ones look like screws, nothing 'depresses', nor keeps anything from spinning. Maybe i'm not man handling it enough who knows...it is a hf tool...

The pin goes in the oblong hole closest to the disc as seen in the video at harborfreight.com. Watch the video at 1:00 minute.

Man ()@#)(#@ that is hidden, right there is a screw and above it only if you angle it a certain way will you see the inner hole which like the vid shows you put up there at an angle.

Sheesh... sander 20 bucks, instructions on how to put it together 100

You are welcome. I had just so happened to watch that video earlier today. I'm sanding down a set of aluminum wheels to polish and was looking for something to help me with it. Post how you like it once you try it out if you don't mind.

Kevin, it's got decent reviews when i read the site and googled. The main thing i noticed is you'll need to make your own hook and loop pads from larger ones as I didn't see they carry them...no biggie there. I also noticed they do have a replacement pad kit (i assume it's the same one with same thread).

I'll do some test runs tomorrow and post back, no project in mind atm for it, but for the cost it seemed very handy to have around. I can't count how many times i said would be great if i had some kind of small 2" sander.

I'm glad you remembered seeing that in the vid i didn't, i'd have been farting with this for days it was so well hidden!

You can buy 2" and 3" hook and loop pads from any Autobody supply store, I have used 3M Hookit and Mirka. If you want to cut your own, you can make a cutting die by sharpening a piece of steel pipe.

Afazz good idea, yeah i was thinking on doing the same.

Kevin, here's a quick vid, I'm recovering from a cold so just ran it on a bike rack to remove some corrosion to test

https://picasaweb.google.com/104898...hkey=Gv1sRgCL-_0fWBiqyVJQ#5700863184131725698

That was a 60 then 80 grit pad, the pads it comes with ****. My 60 gallon was 125psi, 100 after that test. That was with 1/4 airline @ 90psi at the regulator.

Not much of a test but for the cost i think it will be really handy for small things and finish sanding in tight places...beats dragging out a porter cable 5" electric RO i have for stuff like this...
