Just posted these on another thread and thought I would share with everyone. This comes directly from their website. http://www.harborfreight.com/customer-service-product-support.html
HARBOR FREIGHT TOOLS RECALLS
18 Volt Cordless Drill (# 68239 and # 68287)
Trailer Light Kit - DO NOT GO TO HARBOR FREIGHT STORES FOR THIS RECALL
Customer Submission Form
Sit/Stand Rolling Walker
Cordless Drill (#96526)
Automotive Fuse Sets
Handy Switch

Needless to say their power drills aren't that great.. As suspected....

I have never seen any HF recalls anywhere. I've never really looked, but I wonder how they go about announcing them? Are we supposed to regularly check the link I added above?

I wish I had one of the pre-recall drills. I'd like to take it a apart and analyze what they've changed.

The recall is on sticky switch which would cause over heat and maybe fire.... I wonder why no body just detach the battery...

As for the fuses, I think that was a Darwin attempt at population control.

Also it amazes me at how many people look at things and say, they look exactly the same, they must be made by the same company.

Haven't seen the mini butane torch they used to have about 12 hangers in the aisle fully stocked. May not have recalled but they for sure pulled them.

They used to sell Li-Ion or NiMH AA kit with D or C adapters. not anymore, around the same time some of the other generics went recalled for fire hazard.

I would be more concerned about the products they don't recall but pull stock.
