HF regulator

Has anyone successfully used a HF regulator on a 2-stage compressor to regulate the 175psi tank pressure down to around 110psi for air tools, without any leaking issues?
I have heard that these regs have trouble with the higher tank pressures of a2-stage compressor.
If you have had a positive experience, post up the modle number of the one that worked for you.
Any other reg suggestions also appreciated.

HF air fittings and regulators are definitely not on the good tool list. Good ones can be had cheap, save a head ache.

For the record I am not a HF hater, I have quite a few HF tools that I use and like. Their regulators are just not one of them.

I got a 3/4" piggyback for $22.73...............$300 regulator/filter. Awesome!

I got 2 3/4" piggyback and 2 3/4" coalescing filters for around $80 shipped to my door. That is an incredible price. Look in the "Hot Deals" section and you will find a link to the IR site.
