How do guys organize your 13 drawers? I can't seem to find a way I like. For reference I also have a 8 drawer masterhand top box. Pics aren't needed but a list would help. Maybe like
Top drawer then left 1-6 and right 1-6. Any input is appriciated

I don't own one, looked at them numerous times, know all the drawer dimensions, but here is how I would do it.....

[] indicate drawer

[ Sockets, ratchets & associated, 1/4 3/8 1/2 and impact ]
[Screwdrivers] [Nut drivers, bit drivers]
[Pliers] [Cutters (blades, scissors, misc cutting tools]
[Wrenches] [small / special wrenches]
[Measuring tools, gauges] [Precision measuring tools, multimeter]
[Hammers, pipe wrenches "rough tools"] [Punches, chisles, misc beating tools]
[Air tools, double slide heavy drawer, pack em in] [misc]

I primarily do machinist work, so my top box would be full of special measuring and cutting suited to the work I do. Each person needs to set their box up as they see fit based on their line of work. One thing I don't like is keeping the sockets in the long drawer. I personally like to keep sockets in an open top box, that way I am not opening and closing a big drawer just to get to some sockets. YMMV

Steevo and I are a lot alike...

Semi-organized chaos...works almost every time...

Of course, adult supervision wouldn't hurt...especially in my case...

Here's how I have mine, at least until I get a top chest or end cabinet:

Full-width: 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 sockets (in HF trays), extensions, adapters, etc.

Wide 1: Standard/metric combination wrenches in Ernst racks
Wide 2: All other wrenches - adjustable, flare nut, offset, extras, etc. (this drawer is a disaster right now)
Wide 3: Pliers (in homemade pliers rack)
Wide 4: Screwdrivers
Wide 5: Prybars, clamps, pipe wrenches, other odds and ends
Wide 6: Air tools

Narrow 1: 1/4, 3/8, 1/2 ratchets
Narrow 2: Hex keys and measuring/marking tools
Narrow 3: Files, hooks/picks
Narrow 4: Scrapers, utility knives, wire brushes
Narrow 5: Punches and chisels
Narrow 6: Hammers

Yes, do keep the ideas coming. I plan to buy one of these in the not-too-distant future and I love organization ideas on this forum

Hell, I have four of them and still can't figure out where to put what.

my biggest problem is trying to keep tools organized at the shop, in my service truck, and at home...

all with different size boxes, available space, and quantity of tools :scared:

what was soooo organized in 2 sets of kr 550/555b, (& multiple side boxes), didnt quite fit in a 26" CM top box in my service truck.

i try to keep tools in the same place in all my boxes, certain types of tools in the same place, sorta helps me keep my sanity when i'm looking for something.

all in the same drawer
metric wrenches
std wrenches
std angle head, service wrenches and cutoff wrenches
screwdrivers/nut drievrs
pliers
ratchets and extensions
sockets
measuring tools
hammers
vice grips
welding clamps
punches & chisels

all bets are off when it come to my service truck,
std wrenches split between 2 drawers
1/4" dr & 3/4" dr sockets stashed elsewhere in the truck,
3/8" dr & 1/2" dr sockets together
limited selection of screwdrivers and pliers
blow molded boxes, taps, extractors, thread chasers, seal & bushing drivers, ect stashed in truck compartments wherever they fit..:willy_nil
