Not easily possible from what I could see. The slides are riveted to the sides and the top drawers are thinly spaced. I'd have to measure but I'm betting the bottom drawer is as tall as the top three drawers combined. You'd have to drill and re-rivet to move them. I have a series 1 side cabinet and moving one of the bottoms to the top was just a matter of pulling out two top drawers and one tall one and switching them, not so easy series 2 26". I'm thinking of selling mine in the next month or two and just getting a 44" as I need the tall top drawer, adding a side cabinet won't be enough as they made those narrower as well.
