I do not have the folding one but rather the one that does not fold. I love it, I have used it countlessly through the years and have nothing bad to say about it. Yes it is a 2Ton HF. I have never trusted how good the quality of the HF foldup jobs would be though.

I have the non folding model. I use the **** out of it and it's held up fine. I have even lifted bodies off frames with it. Just got done putting a dually bed on a Chevy 6500 with it.

I just purchased one, as they had a coupon to get it for $129.
Pulled a motor yesterday with it. Seems fine so far. Wheels don't pivot real easily, but for the price, I can deal with that.

I got one like that from Northern tool for less than 150 7 or 8 years ago. After using it to pull several engines the cylinder started leaking down( I was bad to leave weight on it over night) so I went to HF and bought just the cylinder which is a 5 ton for under 50 bucks...Works great

Dont leave it with weight on it for very long or the seals may start leaking down. About the only thing that can go wrong. HF has a replacement one thats 5 tons and not 2 for around 50 bucks.

I'm glad to see this review. I've been looking for a used one b/c I wasn't too sure about the H/F one.

Best deal going from HF. I've had mine for eight years and it has lifted its share of equipment. From motors and shipping crates to wood stoves, lathes, and a 2000lb milling machine. Never had any problem with it. It does require a good cleaning once in a while and a little lube of the joints, but other than that it just sits nicely folded in the garage ready to lift all "the ****" I keep draggin' in.
