Polyethylene, probably?

Edit: I have similar cases at my job and just looked at one. It says polypropylene on the bottom. Maybe one of these two plastics?

It's probably polypropylene as most storage cases are made of. Polypropylene is one of those plastics that are hard to glue with most common adhesives. Usually need a specialized glue and/or surface conditioner.

Try this, has worked for me in the past on hard to glue plastics.

Edit: The HF description says polypropylene. The yellow bins are probably what's ABS.

Ugh,,
Did not see the polypropylene in the description,, just the ABS on the actual label,,
From my understanding there is no solvent glue that melts polypropylene??

Not that I know of, that is readily available at local stores anyway. CA might seem stick at first but with any flexing it will crack right off. Might have better luck with hot glue.

That Loctite glue I linked comes with surface conditioner, apply it first, let dry, then use the glue. Can be found at any Home Depot.

I’ve been slowly switching over to those boxes for my seldom-used stuff. I’ve used 3M trim adhesive in a spray to secure the bins to the case, worked pretty good. Wish they had a better locking mechanism that I could feel good about for heavier stuff, but I get it, price point and all... I drilled a hole in the case & lid at the meaty part of the handle and use a bright color zip tie to secure the lid. The bright color is to remind me not to pop the latches and force the lid without cutting the zip tie.

I gave 12 of those HF boxes in my shop I need to get rid of. If anyone is near NW AR, I will make you a good deal.

I just want to kick the guy in the *** that thought sticking the label to the lid was a better idea than sticking it to the plastic wrapper.
