I spent about 5 minutes on HF customer service and got the item number for the shelves and hardware kit (clips).

Its item # 12185 and is $14.99. The number does not pull anything up on their webpage but they are available. I ordered two today along with some other basic stuff(another .99 hook set, some abrasive and cutoff wheels) all included with their $6.99 flat rate shipping.

Hopefully it helps someone. I searched a while and didnt find it here.

Ive had the 44" roll cab and top box with a locker on the right side. This past week I bought one for the left side so I flipped the door and bolted it on. Ive also removed the springs out the locks.

Did you talk to an American when you called them?
I would like replace the deep drawers on the top box with shallow drawers, but I don't want to call them and get irritated.

I've thought of getting the locker for my matco box it seems sturdy enough for a shop environment. How do you like them. Anything you don't like

Ivan,
The lady was obviously Indian but could speak very good English. It wasnt a bad experience at all. From my cellphone the total call time was 10min 48sec which included ordering other items and getting my address and credit card info.

Joe,
I cant say one single negative thing about the lockers except the keys pop out the locks unless you take the springs out - takes 10 min. I also intend to add a cabinet type magnetic latch to keep the doors shut without locking them. This box is in my home shop so I have no need to keep any of it locked.

That's great! I was looking at those, but didn't exactly like the setup inside.

I have the bottom box and small side drawer box. Did you inquire at all about matching key sets? I don't think I could stomach 4 sets of keys for one box...

I'm just curious, it's ok to buy made in China from someone of who knows what nationality at th HF store , but it's not ok to buy made in China from an Indian?

Really dude. You know what I meant.
But in case you are not trolling, sometimes it's very hard to understand the people from a third world country on the telephone. That's all.

Those are nice. I'm guessing they didn't change anything when they switched the finish to gloss? So I could buy one of those side lockers and put it on my HF crinkle finish top and bottom? Also, do they sell a bar to put across the top, inside of the cabinet to hang clothes hangers from? Thanks.

Yea it will fit the old finish boxes. Yes there is a bar to hang things from.

I didnt ask about matching locks but like I said, I dont lock my box. I have the top, bottom, two different lockers and the 5 drawer roll cart all with different keys. They are all on one key ring in one of the drawers.

The part number for the textured finish red shelves is Item # 66474

I found it here: http://www.harborfreight.com/42-end-cabinet-for-roller-tool-chest-68991.html

Nope. Every new coupon Ive seen say they are not valid on tool storage and carts. Ive heard some have had good luck getting it but that was not the case for me. I tried and acted dumb when they pointed out why on the coupon.

Thanks for posting a pic of the setup like that, it's what I wanted to do but wasn't sure how it would look. The store display doesn't always have the top on & has 'one of each' so it's hard to visualize with the lockers on each side. Plus I'm short.

What I wanted to do when I get my lockers & top are take all the deep drawers and put them in the lockers. Could you look at yours and see are the drawers & slides interchangeable? Could you move the slides around inside the locker or only there at the bottom where they are?

Did you inquire at all about matching key sets? I don't think I could stomach 4 sets of keys for one box...

The Sears sets work in HF boxes. I have the part # written down that fits in the 42" HF, if I come across it I'll post. For the most part every Lowe's/HD/Northern/NAPA/HF/TSC box is going to use either the same or very similar lock cylinders. You can either swap it 1 for 1 or mod them slightly to get it to work.

Also, if you go to a HF store and tell them you want matching keys, I have seen them give a bag of 4 locks/4 keys to people. I assume it was free though I don't know for sure.

simple solution to having 4 keys on your keyring...

3 keys inside 1 toolbox, key to the 4th on your keyring.

ive had as many as 10 boxes at work, only needed to keep one key on me.

Yeah I will check tomorrow. I may be mistaken but the bottom drawers of the lockers appear to be narrower than the small drawers on the right hand side of the roll cabinet and top box. Id also say by looking at it that two deep drawers will not fit but three shallow drawers will.

Ill check it out and post back tomorrow.

On swapping the drawers: they are the same width. But, the lockers have one shallow drawer and one deep so your plan would not work.

If I can put the slides wherever I want inside there, I can put the size drawer I want where I want. It's not a necessity, just a nice thing to be able to do.

Yea. Maybe you can. It was cold out in the garage, I measured the widths and didn't look too hard and ran back in the house.

I was just pokin fun!! I do know what you mean...

I really like the ability to order extra shelves. I also wonder if you could swap out the lock mechanisms for something universal if you did want to lock your boxes.

I van Putski - if you want to do some door swapping, post up an add or jump on the post about the "HF DEEP DRAWERS". I was reading through that post and said i wanted to swap my deep drawers for shallow drawers. Mike007 had both types and swapped me out. We just paid our own shipping which was only like 25 bucks. Im really digging this layout now

How hard is it to remove the spring from the key lock? Its the only thing I hate about my locker. I havent had time to take the lock apart yet.

I just recently checked on this. My local store told me they don't have the locks and can't get them. That has to be ordered over the phone. The part number is 12892 which is a set of 5 matching locks (I only wanted 3) at a cost of $30.99 plus tax and shipping.

Not bad.

Take the screw out the back of the cylinder, unhook the vertical locking bars, take the u clip out and remove the cylinder. Take the little wire off the back of the lock and separate the inner from outer - make sure you keep up with the two small tumblers that hold the inner into the outer and go through the key hole. Take all those springs and little brass funny shaped washers out. Put it back together. 10min at most.

How come your lockers are taller than the box stack? I just installed one locker and the tops are flush
