HF tool chest drawer closer question

Anyone care to explain how the closers on the HF tool chest work? I’ve got one of the Gen2 26” base cabinets. The upper drawers close with a secure little bump right at the end, but my two bottoms don’t share the feeling. Bottom most drawer is so loose it’ll slide open at random.

Tried searching but all I found was a bunch of talks about hacking the 5 drawer chest to open with the lid closed.

I fixed my GEN1 44” using the below procedure. Worked great. Hopefully your 26” is the same.

The have a detent retainer at full in position, you need remove slides and review it to see if can be improved, could also be deeper bottom drawer if loaded heavy twists slide in a way that reduces detent engagement
Is also fairly easy get new slides for series 2 boxes, if possible adding 2 pairs of slides to deeper drawers be a good improvement .
