Just bought a 56" rolling cabinet and 44" top chest from harbor freight. Love them both so far and recommend them.

Heres my question: The two toolboxes have two different locks requiring two new keys on my key ring. Has anyone ever replaced the three locks on the boxes so they all use the same key, and if so what did you use and how did you do it???

Thanks all

Harbor Freight offers a set of 5 matching locks if you call their service number and request them. Sorry, don't know the part number or the cost, but I think it's around $30 for the set.

I can tell you that they are security locks meaning they are pick proof and they cannot be rekeyed but your lpcksmith can replace all cylinders so they are keyed alike i had my top and bottom 44s done for about 12 bucks

Ok, thank you guys. Im not 100% sure, but I think the locks on the 56" box are the kind that dont have cylinders. I have taken them out, and the center did not come out of the "outer ring" like the lock on the 44" did. I will look into the HF call line. Maybe I could get that lock set and have the cylinders replaced with more secure lock cylinders?
