Saw that HF offers a great "90 day" warranty on its tool chest...I guess this doesn't stop some from buying one.....but if something does break after the 3 month period, what do you guys do to get it fixed? Just wondering

Replacement slides are available.

What else are you worried about breaking?

If a caster breakes, upgrade it to the 72's style caster. If a slide breakes, i'de try to upgrade them to.
For how much they are, there beastly, compared to others. So doubt it would, but if it does, you can customize it the way you want it, and make it better than it was.
Win, win situation.

When I was bolting in my butcher block top on the 56 I popped a weld on the center brace...I wasn't to concerned then and not now either...but I could see how some things could go wrong on these boxes

I guess you'd take it back, and they'd give you a new one. Personally, since I don't have a great deal of cash "invested" in a tool box, I'd likely just fix whatever went wrong. You can get replacement slides, so no big deal there, or as others have said, you can upgrade.

Which brings me to another point. I suspect if you did some minor upgrades (welding and better slides) to the box, you'd have something that was damn nice. The bones are already there.
