Don't see the uppers on sale much, I got mine during the thanksgiving sale I think. Wasn't quite ready to buy it but had to jump when it went on sale. Keep watching and be ready when it does go on sale.

I'm in the same boat. Bought the bottom unit on black friday right after their 15 off no exclusions coupon ended.

Started to buy a new blue 44x22 lower last week at $449 (normally $499) and saw an ad for next weekend for $399. See you next week!!

Where did you see the sale on the 44" box? Would be great to get one for a $100 off.
I paid for a 44 inch upper and lower a couple of weeks ago. Used the coupon to get $50 off. The store was out of boxes, but said they had a shipment coming in. When I told the lady I don't get to the town their store is in very often due to distance, she told me if I didn't mind waiting until the sidewalk sale I could get another $50 off. I'll pick mine up next week.

I have the HF lower and side locker. But I don't care for their upper.
I think the Craftsman upper will fit on my lower....and I like the deep top lid on it better
