$200 + seems way to high for a welding cart with drawers. Seems to me that you could pick up a used two drawer office file cabinet, slap on some casters, a handle on the front, some metal hooks and a coat of paint and come out way ahead. Just my $0.02

They are on sale at 129 and with a coupon you can get it for around 100 bucks. A 4 draweer cart offers more room if you have the space for it

These seem to be popular at the moment. Our local store only gets one per shipment so will have to get a rain check to get one before they go off sale. Most of the coupons say not eligible for welders or cabinets!! Will have to test that out and see if I can get the discount. The new welding table looks good for the price too.

I thought it looked like a great idea but I think I can find a sturdier file cabinet and build a base for less than the $200+. Those of you who are getting it for the sub-$100 price with coupon might be on to something if you don't have a file cabinet handy. Be interested in how they hold up - the tires looked a little flimsy and the top drawer inserts were super weak. But I really liked the design.

I picked up the "value line" one from Zoro when it was 30% off. With the free shipping, it came in at $190. It's the Metal Man unit that Rural King also carries but without the drawer locks. Detent slides. Overall, I'm happy with it. Front casters are better than I expected. Pretty solid overall. Nice, big bottom drawer.

The welding 'table' is not something I could recommend to anyone. It's very lightly built and pivots in the middle with no locking mechanism.
*** It's light, it's easy to move. There is in fact a sort of locking mechanism. You tighten a bolt connected to a plastic lever, and the slot that the bolt tightens onto has wider "holes" or notches in the appropriate places.

I find it very useful. Even though the metal is thin, it has enough folded edges to make it stiff. I do a lot of work with 1/8" mild steel, and this table works well with clamps to keep my work from warping.

I did pick one up recently as the price had dropped to $59 and I thought I'd risk it. I had to replace the bolts as they were lightly made and stripped readily, but it wasn't a big deal.

I still think it's too short and may extend it vertically later with a mod. But it does have the advantage of being light weight for in field work.

Both my welders came with wheels (Syncro200/MM210) so I use an old 7 drawer Craftsman box for all the welding gubbins. Works perfectly & has a 220lb lead filled beater bag on top of it.
