My wife dragged me into Harbor Freight this afternoon. (She's a keeper) I had some of those coupons for freebies, with no purchase required. On the way to the register with my free tarp, I spotted this wrench organizer.

Wrench Organizer

It drops right in to the drawers on the HF 26" or 44" chests.

Here's the kicker. It's made in the US. $12.99

It's not perfect. They increase the capacity count by including space for 24 Allen wrenches. For my use it would be better if they repurposed the Allen wrench area for more combo or DBE wrenches. However, even the way it is now is an improvement over the multiple smaller wrench holders that I had been using.

If you would've used a 20% off coupon it would be $10.40. They work pretty well and you can cut it into pieces and rearrange wrench sets. There are a few HF threads in here if you are going to start shopping there.

I got one last week, fit right in my Huskey drawer. I have found other things made in USA at HF. Hope they continue that trend!

I cut off everything except the 'main two' wrench racks on it. Works pretty well for misc seldom used wrenches to sit flat around a secondary wrench set, ratcheting, etc.

If you mainly have standard wrenches I think I have 6-20 and 1/4-1" on mine, and maybe a handful of others, it might be perfect for you.

If you are a guy that has at least two 'full' sets of wrenches, say 6 & 12 pt and needs to organize a 'misc wrench drawer' on the cheap, it might also be perfect.

If you intend to use it as your main wrench storage, it's not so perfect.

I was given one of the Harbor Freight wrench organizers, but it just wasn't going to save me any space. I cut it into a bunch of smaller organizers so I could put longer wrenches in it and tuck things like stubby ratcheting wrenches in where ever there was room left.

I suppose it really depends on how many wrenches you have and what types.

They waste a lot of space and don't work well as unlikely have right teeth counts/spacing for your spanner selection.
Best option is several sets of shark teeth racks either purchased or home made (rigid foam) and once got layout established/racks cut down etc bond them to drawer liner if rigid enough or rigid thin sheet of plastic or similar and you got the same principle but totally custom .

huh, didn't know such a thing existed. How well does it hold?

IIRC - it holds both SAE and Metric sets from 1/4" - 3/4" (6mm-19mm). Since it takes up less than half the drawer, there is room behind and on the side to keep larger wrenches.

Same one I use. I prefer it to the Hf type linked above.

Same here.

I didn't care for the sears sort-a-tool, as it wasn't long enough to even hold my craftsman polished wrenches.

True. It's not made for long shank wrenches. Standard length only.

I commented on that in another thread, but I have 2 of them and love them. only gripe is they only carry one at a time so it took me a couple weeks to get the 2nd one.

and they don't quite fit the drawer, you have to trim it a bit, but not a bit deal. I cut some sections out with a dremel as I didn't like the layout. still debating on cutting out the allen wrench sections since I rarely use them.
first pic is std, 2nd is metric.

I use this one also. Made up new labels for two of them so I can have one for metric only and one SAE only.

Bought one yesterday...taking it back today. Too wasteful of space. I currently have 4 sets in my wrench drawer: SAE 5/16-1" (plus larger that won't fit on the organizer) plus metric 10-19mm in one of those Sort-A-Tool trays, and limited sets of ratcheting, in their original holders. The HF tray has so much "air" around the rails it only holds 2 full sets plus a handful of loose wrenches.
The tiny slots in the corners for ignition wrenches are cute but I have at least 4X that many with various angles and ends--what am I supposed to do with them, plus the ratcheting wrenches?

I don't especially like the Sort-A-Tool tray but it does hold a lot of wrenches in a small space. Maybe I should combine my ratcheting wrenches in a 2nd one...
I think I'd still have inches left over for big wrenches and my pouches of ignition wrenches.
