Hello everyone,

I am closing on my first house on the 27th and couldn't be more excited about getting started on the garage. I found the site through Matty D's website.

I just wanted to introduce myself. I am 25, will be living right outside of Nashville and work in IT. I am sure I will have a lot of questions. Looking forward to learning and getting my garage where I want it for relatively cheap.

Congratulations on your home purchase. I just recently retired from 30 years in IT, and that was the fastest 30 years of my life. Nothing moves and changes faster than IT.

Welcome aboard! There's plenty of IT hardware that can find use in the garage including 19" rackmounts from server cabinets. Enclose the sides (if open) with plywood and add shelving inside to hold bins of fasteners or other bits.
