Hello everyone, My name is Josh and I am from TN. Just got my new 24x30 garage framed over the weekend. Only thing left for the outside is a roof and siding. Inside will get inslation and something for the walls. I did a search about sheet rock v OSB. Seems like 6 of one, half dozens of the other deal. I have run across a great deal on some 4x6 1/4 pegboard. It's 4.00 a sheet, I was thinking I might buy enough of it to cover the walls, then I could hang just about anything in the world on the walls. Anyone else ever done this and what are your thoughts about it? My garage will be a Bronco stall, meaning it will houses my 1973 Ford Bronco, and an escape for me from time to time. Oh, just in case you wanted to know why I built a new garage, well I have (had) a 22x19 attached to the house, but my mother in law is moving in with us, so I am redoing the old garage for her, and I made her pay for my new one. I would have liked to go bigger (depth) 30' is what it is. But the lay of the land wouldn't work. Thanks guys.

pegboard for wall sheating? probably not a good idea, you may want to use a solid product like drywall or osb.

I've got pegboard on two sides of mine,I love it! Even if you go osb up so high then pegboard it will be nice and you will not regret it

Here are a few pictures, the first pictures was taking after the family and I got back from from a friends house with a basement. Tornados all around us last Friday, I came back figuring it would be laid down from the 60 plus MPH winds, but it made it through.
