Hi all, the names Ian, I'm in the UK.

I was hoping someone could help with this. I won it on ebay sometime ago and have decided to have a play. the CO meter seems to work as does the strobe. I think it works as a multi meter as well but will not read RPM. also the I have no idea what the symbol is next to the strobe one it looks a bit like this( EC ) What it's set to in the picture.

Has anyone seen one of these before or can anyone throw any light on it. one more thing I need to use it on a V8 so I assume you set it to 4 cylinders and half or double the reading.
Please look here

Any help greatly appreciated.

Ian.

I have no idea if you are legit or not, but I'm not clicking on a link from somebody with 3 posts. I'm assuming other members are not either.

If you're for real, you should post some pictures or additional information, and people will help.

Sorry I'm am legit, problem is the photo of the tester is in my Dropbox account,

The equipment is an engine analyzer from the 80's made by Britool England, but has no model number on it. I was hoping someone would recognize it ?

As far as I can tell this forum only allows a picture to be posted via a url unless someone can advise me differently. I've tried pasting etc with no luck.

I do understand your concerns about clicking on a spurious link though, I would think twice as well.

I'll see if I can find another way to get a picture posted.

Download it from dropbox and upload it to Photobucket or something.

Ian, on your Photobucket account, click on your picture so it's full size. On the right, you see the "Image Links". Click on the "Direct Link" button, and it will go yellow and say "copied".
Come back here in the reply box, and click on the yellow box at the top with the mountains in it. It will bring up a new box, with a "Http" in it. Delete that Http, then paste your link.

Go here to practice posting pictures:

I think that is an old narrow band O2 meter and I don't know if it has a tachometer function to it.

What are you trying to do anyway?

You should edit out the link in the first post. Viglink is an advertising service. (basically spam)
