About me: I´m coming from Remscheid, Germany (next to Solingen) - the hometown of the best german hand-tools. If somebody has any question about use, age or something else, I will do my best to help.

I learned car mechanic at Porsche and my father sold cars for 40 years. So I became a petrol-head.

Hello mac intosh,

I was wondering if you could provide some information about the history of the 600 series combination wrenches. For example what changes occurred at what years, and when the 600N appeared. I can't find this type of information on the internet. But since you're and insider perhaps you could point me in the right direction.

For example, I have some late 600 series inch size wrenches and the size is forged in a square depression. But I've seen pictures of 600 inch size wrenches with the size stamped directly on the shank.
