I've gotten a lot of good info here, so I thought I'd join in. I'm a retired school teacher but worked many years as a service station and dealership mechanic. I still have the majority of my Snap On tools that I started buying in the late '60s.

I'm still a car nut; I currently have an '09 Chevy HHR Panel, '07 Honda S2000, and '67 VW Beetle (restored). Past cars include '56 Ford Crown Victoria, '61 Prosche Conv. (similar to Speedster), '69 Camaro Indy Pace Car model, '70 GTO, two '66 VWs.

One thing I've found is, Snap On is really good at warranty repairs. They've come through for me with my old F-71-D and TM70B ratchets that needed repair kits.
