Post a move about 2 years, ago, Ive finally started restoring some old tools for the shop.
finished a 1970's Craftsman 9"/6"x48" combo belt sander
simultaneously restoring/rebuilding
1940's Craftsman 618 lathe
1965ish Delta Rockwell 15-017 benchtop drill press
1970's Craftsman 12" bandsaw, conversion to metal cutting

lol it seems like each tool needs something from one of the other tools...

the closest one is the bandsaw - have it mounted on a stand, and have the design and parts, but need to do the test fit/mockup, to validate and finalize details. Im not in a rush on this one, so it may be the last of the 3.

the lathe is, as of last night, ready for re-assembly. then it will get mounted. so it's not too far off, either. maybe a month or so! Im pretty excited about this one - its complete, with some great accessories, and Im putting in new headstock bearings, and a reversing switch - hopefully I can get it to within a thou TIR over the distance between centers.

the drill press is ready to be painted, but I need to redo the wiring, as it's cracking and breaking. This drill has a reversing motor as well, and a foot switch. so it will be very functional as well.

:lol_hitti and THEN I can get to the projects, for which this shop is being built out for....
