Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm just north of London Ontario, that's midway between Detroit and Toronto about 2 hours either way.
I've been national sales manager for a manufacturing company for a number of years and in the process of slowing the crazy train down. I'm still in the cage but off the wheel!
I'm a licensed mechanic from a previous life and just finished a short box C10.
Have also drag raced over the years with a great bunch of guys.

In the process of building a new shop, just waiting for the permit.

It will be 40x48x12, will have a foundation, steel inside and out. foam insulation and radiant floor heat. door will be 20x10. along length of one wall.

I've enjoyed lurking for some time but thought I'd better step out of the shadows!

Thanks,
PaddyR

Welcome from the Finger Lakes in New York. In a past life, I used to travel to your area on a regular basis. Pretty country, in the summer

Welcome from 200 km up the road. Since you've been lurking for a while, there's no need to tell you how much we're going to like your pictures!

Here is where the shop is going, the overhead door will have a southern exposure. Also pic of my shop truck I just finished. I'll submit under general discussion but wondered if anyone had an opinion on a polycarbonate overhead door, considering my location. Winters are 25F to 35F normally in that range.
Door again is 20 x10 with radiant floor heat.
Thanks!
