I have inherited a couple of snap on tool boxes. The top box is a KR-550b. How do I remove the drawers so that I can give them a good cleaning. The other is an older 7 drawer bottom box. It too needs cleaning and has ball bearing slides. Again how do I remove and then reinstall the drawers? Is there a tool to use?

Any help is appreciated.

Hello az240z,

Usually Bearing slides have a trip lock holding the drawer section to the box, Usually a finger latch or a small tab to push with a small screwdriver. Other styles are secured with a small screw.

Hope this helps
