Hi Everyone

I have been lurking around here for a number of years and finally decided to join up.

Lots of great ideas and advice on here.

Cheers

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.

Notgrownup - yes, the price of membership is pretty good, it is deciding that I 'need' to buy some of the tools and other things I have seen on the forum that is going to cost me money.

drivesitfar - I am mainly into four wheel driving and just working on my cars and trucks. I used to do a bit of off-road racing when I was a bit younger. I have a few old vehicles in storage on a farm in various stages of decomposition I plan on restoring in the future, including a 1965 Ford F-250, a Willys Jeep and a old International Scout 800. The Scout will probably be first off the rank, but I need to build a decent shed to do it all first.

HOTFR8 - Yes, I would be interested in joining the Aussie Kiwi social group.

GTL: thanks for sharing your past, hobbies and a few of your goals. if you might want to try posting a few pictures of some of those past or future projects here is a great place to learn. i use the paperclip above where you are writing your posts that you can post one picture at a time up to 7 pictures per post and upload. thumbnails show up on your post and with 2 clicks they are full size for the viewer.

i'm into old tools, but there was a few old Ford Mustangs in my past in the early 70's. now after 5 kids i'm just a Honda guy until my last 2 get out of the house when they finish college.
