Hi! Just stumbled across this board this morning (actually a link from corvetteforum.com) and knew right away I had to join! I just got finished with a complete "restoration" of my 2 car garage (our home is a late '70's colonial, but the garage looked like it dated to the 1770's!!) and am planning a new detatched building for the rear property, possibly something along the 40x60 size. I club race with SCCA in the SE Div in a Honda CRX in ITB (think showroom stock road racing) and also love Corvettes and (oddly enough) old British cars, mostly Triumphs - got a '71 GT6 and '77 and '72 Spitfires now. So new shop will be the restoration shop.
Look foward to learning a lot and checking out other members' garages. And great to know there is a place like this out there - with more people like me!!
Here's my 2 car attached to the house, nearly finished.... cabinets were salvage from a school that was being torn down, floor is Costco garage floor tile. Drywall, paint & wiring all by me. And yes, I'm actually planning on keeping it this clean! Soon to be inhabited by the CRX and the Vette...
