Came here for a welding cart (duker), figured I'd stay for some advice on finishing out my new garage build.

Currently adding on a 26x26 garage to my house due to a race car addiction I am needing more shop space with a lift.

Pics related. Early plans (some things have changed.)

Is rarity these days to find what looks like a somewhat active forum so maybe I'll hang around and lurk.

May I suggest you update your location to some thing a little more specific as in future you may find that helps you when you have specific questions that affect you. Specially given the forum has a very global membership. Often you will find subjects may get different answers depending on locations and regulations.

Detached and Attached just does not cut it. Dallas would be OK. Your plans look good.

I will have to fill out my profile more later. I'm actually in a suburb of Dallas, already have city permit and full plans approved and both garages are attached to house will just be separate. Plan is orginal garage to be for dailies and storage and new one to be dedicated shop space.

I will have to make a thread on the build once more work happens right now have only done demo of old drive and dirt work.
