Hi from Northeast Florida. Glad I found this forum as I am considering doing a garage remodel. I did the house last year and the garage is all that's left. I have some contractors coming this week to give estimates on flooring. I did price their cabinets but I can do way better price wise doing my own cabinet install. Right now Home Depot has the New Age systems on sale and I am looking at the pro series 18 gauge cabinet system. Hoping to get some good advice and see what others have done.

1LD: before you buy new cabinets have you seen the vintage metal cabinet thread? here's a link and maybe it might give you a few more ideas if you might like a better built vintage look.

welcome to the forum and I know you'll find a ton of great ideas and just a warning that the longer you stay here your garage will look better and have more tools, but you'll never maybe have another benjamin in your wallet that isn't already spent on a new find.

cheers

Thanks for the welcome and link. My current cabinets are "vintage" so to speak. Old kitchen cabinets and an old 4 drawer file cabinet painted metallic silver with diamond plate mylar tape on the doors as well as a Kennedy upper and Craftsman lower tool box, my first one that I bought new in 1973. Looking to modernize a bit. The garage clutter is a mess and I want to get my Mustang back in there. The New Age 8 piece set up should take care of all that. If I can find thin polished diamond plate at a reasonable price I may use it as wainscoting on the walls.
