I've only just scratched the surface of what this forum has to offer and I had to join up! My current major project is a total re-side of my early 50's era house. (built in 1952)

I've already converted the carport into a nicely finished garage, which was the reason to begin re-siding; old-growth cedar plank siding isn't too common, but hardie-plank sure is!

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Burlington for a soccer tournament a couple of weeks ago. We're up there a couple of times a year. My middle son played in a baseball league that was based in Blaine. Played home and away double headers Saturdays and Sundays. Long haul sports are great, we certainly don't need vacations. My car drives itself to Seattle.
