Hi from Northern Michigan!!

I am new here. A coworker gave me this website to check out. I am not a girly girl....more like a machinist type girl. Not afraid to get dirty or greasy. My husband is a really great mechanic. We have driven sports cars to big trucks and the big trucks win. Looking forward to learning much from every one of you!!

(Our garage is filled with vintage snowmobiles, not vehicles....need a bigger garage.)

Melody: i'll lean more on the positive and welcome you until i know different because we do get a few of the spammers (trolls to some). do you have any of those machinist type tools in your shop or garage at home or just at work?

any pictures to share of a garage full of snowmobiles? you can leave your location blank if you choose and also the avitar or pick one of your favorite pictures. i think i'm on my 3rd or 4th avitar and my location is pretty general.

we'd love to hear your posts letting us know how we can improve or your questions if you need answers and can't find any in a search.

A Buckeye wouldn't understand that while Yoopers are from the Upper Peninsula, Trolls are from the lower peninsula because we live below the bridge.

I certainly would NOT insult a lady on her first post.

In MI, anything north of Clare is "up north" ! Of course yuppers would not agree !

For us Yoopers a Troll is some one that lives below the BIG MAC bridge. It's all in fun with no hard feelings. And yes we OWN the tern up north as we are the upper peninsula.

You Yoopers have it wrong, you guys aren't the ones that go "Up North" we trolls are. That said Up North begins around Clare or Houghton Lake.


I grew up a mile from the state line, everything was Up North.

Just looked it up but where I grew up in Michigan to Copper Harbor is less than 50 miles closer than Atlanta, GA is. Crazy how big Michigan is.
